THE BROOK J. LENFEST SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM AT TEMPLE UNIVERSITY

The Brook J. Lenfest Scholarship Program enables low-income students who graduate from Philadelphia public high schools to attend and graduate from Temple University. The Brook J. Lenfest Foundation started the scholarship program in 2008 as part of its mission to provide support to people pursuing positive life choices. The Foundation has made a long-term commitment to the program.

The program is managed and operated by Temple University in cooperation with the Foundation, Philadelphia Futures, White-Williams Scholars and Mastery Charter Schools. In order for a student to be considered for a scholarship, he/she must:
  • Be a participant in Philadelphia Futures or the White-Williams Scholars or be a student at Mastery Charter Schools
  • Be a senior in a Philadelphia public high school
  • Be admitted to Temple University
  • Qualify for significant federal and state aid based on financial need
More information on the scholarship is available from Temple University. Visit Philadelphia Futures and White-Williams Scholars and Mastery Charter Schools for more information on those programs.
